Mulenga Hibbert

Mulenga Hibbert is a dedicated school social worker at Hackensack High School and a per diem psychotherapist at PHG Services LLC. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University in May 2024 and brings over eight years of experience working with children and adolescents in diverse settings. Mulenga’s professional passions include improving access to mental health care, advocating against systemic racism, and promoting ethical implementation of medical and mental health care services.

She has a strong history of community engagement, including reconnecting middle school students with the free resources available at their local library during her MSW internship. In addition to her community work, Mulenga is committed to holistic youth development and equity in aquatic recreational opportunities. She taught swim lessons to children ages 0–12 for seven years, actively encouraging BIPOC youth to pursue swimming and access aquatic environments.
