Hope on Water (HOW) is thrilled to announce our new partnership with the A Most Beautiful Thing Inclusion Fund (AMBTIF) and its founder, Arshay Cooper! Together, we’re working toward a shared vision: increasing diversity, equity, and inclusion in rowing while creating meaningful opportunities for underrepresented communities.
Through this partnership, AMBTIF has generously donated $25,000 and 10 rowing machines (ergs) to HOW. This incredible support has already made a significant impact—helping fund fall training tuition for two athletes and providing a Learn to Row program for seven new participants. These milestones are just the beginning of what we hope to achieve together.
"We are beyond excited to join forces with Arshay Cooper and the A Most Beautiful Thing Inclusion Fund," said Myrna Gotrell of HOW. "This partnership represents a monumental step toward creating lasting change in the sport of rowing. With AMBTIF's generous support, we’re able to reach even more young athletes and show them that rowing is a sport where they belong."
Arshay Cooper, a trailblazer in the movement to diversify rowing, expressed his excitement for the collaboration, noting that Hope on Water’s mission aligns seamlessly with the work of the A Most Beautiful Thing Inclusion Fund (AMBTIF). He emphasized that through this partnership, both organizations are committed to not only expanding access to rowing but also transforming lives and strengthening communities by creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
Looking ahead, HOW and AMBTIF will collaborate on future events and programs to bring rowing opportunities to even more young athletes. We’re inspired by this partnership and grateful for the trust and support of AMBTIF in helping us expand our reach.
Stay tuned for updates on upcoming initiatives! Together, we’re making waves in the world of rowing. 🌊
